Directors. Our new Board for 2005 represents leaders in our community who are committed to the economic growth and development of the Chamber and your business. Our goal is to create a Chamber of Commerce that supports its members.

I am calling upon all members to actively recruit new Chamber members. When a new business or professional joins the Chamber, our new member brings to the Chamber the resources of their business and their clients and customers who need the products and services supplied by our members. When a new member joins our Chamber we not only gain a new member, but each of us are given the opportunity of increasing our client and customer base exponentially. Your participation in the Chamber of Commerce and the benefits you derive will be directly proportionate to your efforts to recruit new members and support our existing members. The concept of “You must give in order to receive” must be a guiding principal of our members.
In the upcoming year, our Chamber can look forward to a regularly published newsletter, a membership directory, dynamic business development speakers, and fundraising activities designed to expand membership and showcase our members.

I invite our members to actively participate in our meetings, membership recruitment, articles for publication in our newsletter and service through participation in our Chamber committees.

In closing, it is with great pride that I accept the honor of serving as President. I look forward to leading the Chamber in a year of unprecedented growth as we seek to increase the business of our members. I invite our members to submit ideas and suggestions on how the Chamber can better serve and develop your business.
